LIHAC MINUTES JULY 1, 2014

The LIHAC meeting was called to order by President Jim Wilson July 1st, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

Guests: Tom Cobb introduced Tim and Janet Lange. Roger Miller from Clinton County had been invited by Gene Gangwer.

Roll call was answered by 53 members.

Health and Welfare: Annette Williams reported Bob Peterson is at home and appreciates cards and phone calls. A sympathy card was sent to Karen Busse as her mother passed away.

Drawings: Joe Goss was the winner of the MCL gift card, Bob Walton won the free membership and Harold Williams won the Dog n Suds gift card.

The secretary read the minutes and they were approved with one correction (Model A's not Model T's) Tom Cobb moved the minutes be approved, Jerry Barnett seconded.

There was not a Treasurer's report as the Treasurer was absent.

Malcolm Miller still has the Dammit Doll.

Harold Williams reported on the men's breakfast approximately 15 in attendance.

Linda Cobb reported on the ladies' luncheon, approximately 12 in attendance. Both groups have a good time.

July 10th will be the next ladies' luncheon at Treece restaurant in Rossville.

Old Business: Model A meet was excellent.

New Business: LIHAC Picnic July 20th at 1 p.m. at Columbia Park. Bring a covered dish to share and a lawn chair. Meat and drinks are furnished.

Reminders: Cadillac will have a new building open at the Gilmore Museum by the time the club visits.

Delphi Independence Day Parade July 5th.

Steam and Power Show July 31st, Aug. 1st and 2nd.

Newport Hill Climb.

Car Show at Cumberland Point Retirement Home July 26th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

New Derhammer has a '31 Model A for sale.

July 6th Dog n Suds 4:30 p.m.

40 and 8 Car Show.

Harold Williams will replace Jim Wilson as the Team Leader for the Caterpillar tour in August.

Bob Burkhalter delivered a trophy and asked that someone give it a home.

Changes to the By-Laws will be discussed and voted on at the August meeting.

Curt Williams moved the meeting be adjourned and Jerry Barnett seconded.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
