LIHAC MINUTES AUGUST 4, 2015

President Jim Wilson called the meeting to order on August 4, 2015 at the MCL Cafeteria. Jim thanked everyone for the many get well wishes he received and that he was glad to be up and about again.

Guests: John Coulson introduced their son Dan Coulson and Phyllis Hildebrand introduced her daughter Karen VanHorn. No new members were present. Roll call was answered by 64 members.

Drawings: Malcolm Miller won the MCL gift card, Eldon Fredericks won the Free Membership for a friend and Ramon Stewart won the Dog n Suds Gift Card.

Secretary Jean Gosma read of the July minutes and they were approved as read.

Pam Luenz gave the Treasurer's report with a balance in checking of $2,791.01. Savings and CD balances remain unchanged. August Ladies' Luncheon will be at Logan's Road House on August 13th. Jean Barnett reported the July luncheon at Frankfort was good food and fellowship.

Old Business: Bill and Nancy Erdis sponsored the pre Dog n Suds tour, treating everyone with cold water and ice cream. Stephanie Aschenberger was at the amphitheater to take pictures and Tom will have them on the web site soon.

New Business: Tom Cobb will be conducting the breakfast tour on Saturday August 8th. Leaving from the McDonald's on 43 N at 8:00 a.m. traveling to West Side Diner in Logansport. More info on the web site. Sunday August 16th, a dinner tour to Milano Inn in Indianapolis is being planned. We will be leaving from the the McDonald's on old US 231 at 4 p.m. and will return before dark. For the over night tour to Vincennes/French Lick, we will leave from McDonalds on Old US 231 at 9 a.m. Again, check the web site. The latest info will be there.

Eldon Fredericks announced the University Place car show will be September 20th, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided, just don't all go in to eat at the same time. We will park at the front entrance as usual.

August 15th, is Community Awareness Day at Delphi. This is a non LIHAC activity. Park at the Pioneer Village. Again check the web site.

Don Gosma announced he is hosting a get together for old cars, tractors, etc. on August 21st and 22nd at his residence at 8135 W. 500 N. Come enjoy!

October will be our annual auction, we will begin 30 minutes earlier than normal. This means we will eat at 5:30 p.m. Begin to think about items you may have stored away that needs a new home.

November is election of officers, and with keeping with the By-laws, a Nominating Committee of three will be appointed in October. If anyone would like to participate on this Committee, please let President Wilson know ASAP.

September 19th Delphi Lions Club will be sponsoring Wheels of the Past at 1 p.m. on the Court House Square. There will be judging and prizes.
