LIHAC MINUTES JUNE 7, 2016

President Brandon Stevens called the meeting to order June 7, 2016 at the MCL Cafeteria. He then introduced Mary Cuttler who was representing the Indiana Parks System. She gave a little history of the 25 State Parks in Indiana as they're are celebrating 200 years.

Roll Call was answered by 70 members.

Jean Gosma read the minutes and they were approved as read.

Pam Luenz gave the Treasurer's report with a balance in checking of $4042.94. $798 of this is monies collected for the Louisville Christmas Lights Tour. Savings Balance $1003.04, CD $552.56, CD $537.21.

Membership is currently at 108.

Annette Williams send cards to Ron Weigle, Dolores Findlay, Jim Courtney, and Bob and Judy Bunnell.

Joe Goss reported that John Gambs had open heart surgery and is doing well. The pre Dog and Suds tour was to see all his cars.

Business: Laura Layton reported on the ladies luncheon. There were 12 in attendance and the food and fellowship was good. Pam Luenz will be hosting the June luncheon on June 16th and Jane's Deli.

Men's breakfast is at the Downtowner in Market Square Shopping Center at 8:30 on the third Friday of each month. Friday June 17th. is the next one.

Tom Cobb reported 30 had signed up for the Louisville Christmas Lights Tour but there is still room for more. See the web page or Tom for more info.

Bill Erdis talked about the Lafayette Model Car Club. LIHAC will provide $25 to sponsor a second award in honor of LIHAC members. The Club collected another $39 in donations.

Roger and Joyce Miller are hosting the August 27th LIHAC event. Mark you calendars and watch the web site.

Don Gosma invited any and all to his second gathering of the Halfway Show to be held August 19 and 20th.

June 11, 2016 is the Frank Hildebrand Veterans Car Show. Have your cars there by 11 a.m. and be there until 2 p.m. The Thunderbird Club is joining us for this event.

June 15, 2016 is the St. Anthony Healthcare Car Show from 2 to 4 p.m. The are requesting cars from the 40's through the 60's.

For the Pre Dog n Suds Tour for July 3, meet at Fort Ouiatenon at 2 p.m. From there we will travel to the Little K wheat harvest gathering at Marion Klutzke to see his Allis Chalmer tractors display.

The Illiana Antique Power Show in Rainsville is July 16th. If you'd like to host and set up a tour for this see Brandon. Watch web for more information.

The Damit Doll is on the move again, leaving Tim Lang's possession passing through Ed Wagoner possession and ending up with Jim Walsh. Bob Findlay still has the Golden Spike.

Jerry Barnett has just purchased a 1923 Model T Touring Car.

Linda Cobb reported on the ladies Delphi Opry House Tea. The ladies had a good time.

Malcolm Miller announced the National Packard Meeting will be in Traverse City, Michigan.
