LIHAC MINUTES SEPTEMBER 6, 2016

President Brandon Stevens called the meeting to order at the MCL Cafeteria on September 6, 2016 at 6:000 p.m. He introduced our guest, Mr. Wellman, from the Long Center, who spoke about the Ken Double Concert coming up on September 24, 2016.

One guest/new member, Wyatt Stone, was introduced.

Care and Concern: Annette Williams sent cards to the following: Ed Wagoner, Joyce Miller, Ann Walsh and Dolores Findlay.

Sam Hauohey distributed information and spoke about Abby's Ride. It's a Bike and Car Cruise Benefit for his 23 month old daughter who will undergo brain surgery September 21st. The ride begins at Menards on the West side and ends at Dog N Suds in West Lafayette.

Lemoyne Seneasc reported on the Ladies Luncheon. 20 ladies attended and all had a good time.

September Ladies Luncheon will be at Pepe's.

October Ladies Luncheon will be at Jane's Deli and there will be a speaker on ladies health.

Bill Erdis reported the Model Car Contest went well.

Don Gosma reported on Gosma's Halfway Show and announced that on September 16 several were gathering at the Veteran's home with old cars, tractors, etc. This is from 9 to 2.

September 25th is the University Place Show from 11 to 2. A band will play at 11 and lunch will be for all to enjoy. Park in the circle driveway.

Also, on September 25th, Harold and Jo Williams will be hosting a reception from 2:30 to 4:30 at the OutBack in celebration of their 60th. Anniversary.

Pre Dog N Suds trip will meet at Fairfield Lakes. Will be going to view 3 bridges in Carroll County.

September 11th is the Turkey Run trip. Meet at McDonald's on old US 231 at 9:30 a.m. Again, there will not be a gate fee.

The Golden Spike was awarded to Joe Goss and the Dammit Doll awarded to Harold Doremire.

The next meeting is October 4.
