The LIHAC Meeting was called to order by President Brandon Stevens on the 1st day of November 2016 at the MCL Cafeteria.
No guests were present. One new member, Pat Malone was introduced. He currently has 44 cars.
61 members answered Roll Call. Ballots were distributed and then collected for the Board of Directors.
Annette Williams reported cards were sent to Les Freed, Bob and Dolores Findlay and Pam Luenz.
Pat Lawson's mother will be turning 100 years young the end of November and Jo Williams suggested we might send her a card and had the address.
Drawings: MCL Cafeteria went to Bev Gangwer and the Membership for a friend went to Jim Walsh.
New Business: Tom Cobb announced the LIHAC Christmas Party will be December 11th at Stidham United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Watch the web site for more information. Bring finger food or a dessert and your table service.
Tom also stated the Louisville Christmas light trip is organized and ready to go. Again, watch the web site for current information.
Men's breakfast is the 3rd. Friday of each month. 18 attended the October breakfast.
Linda Cobb announced the November luncheon would be November 9th at the 9 Irish Brothers on US 38. December 9th is the December Ladies luncheon at Grindstone Charley's. Since Dolores usually hosts this, we might think about some event we fondly remember her for and share at the meeting.
On November 13 the Jim Bray Estate Auction near Dayton, IN has a very nice 2 door Model A for sale.
The Golden Spike is in the care of Joe Goss and the Dammit Doll will be staying the winter with Brandon Stevens. It was noted that when the Erdis's left the meeting in their beautiful Studebaker, there were neither tail lights or brake lights.
In the absence of Pam Luenz, Linda Cobb gave the Treasurer's report. There are 112 current members, of which there were 56 renewals. If you haven't paid your dues, please do so.
Secretary Jean Gosma read the minutes and they were approved as read.
Brandon asked for a volunteer to be the name tag specialist. Nancy Erdis volunteered to do them.
The Lafayette Christmas Parade is on December 5th at 5 p.m. Also, A Dickens of a Christmas will be downtown in December.
