LIHAC MINUTES AUGUST 1, 2017

President Brandon Stevens called the LIHAC meeting to order on August 1, 2017 and the MCL Cafeteria.

43 Members answered roll call and we didn't have any guests or new members present.

Secretary Jean Gosma read the July minutes and they were approved as read.

Treasurer Pam Luenz gave the Treasurer's report with a balance in checking of $3300.22 and savings balance of $1028.15. Current membership is at 102.

Drawings: MCL Gift card went to Lora Layton, Dog n Suds gift card to Joe Newlin and Membership for a friend to Fran Larch.

August Ladies luncheon is being hosted by Fran Larch and will be at Arnie's at Market Square on August 22, 2017. Men's breakfast is on August 18 at the Downtowner at Market Square.

Pam Luenz gave the care and concern for Annette Williams. Cards were send to Les Freed, Eldon Fredericks, Pat Lawson, Linda Lewis, Joy Sturm and Ron Beyers. Fred is receiving visitors now, but please call first as he is in rehab quite a bit.

Our attendance is down tonight as many of our members are at the Model A meet in Gettysburg PA.

August 6 is the Dog n Suds at 4:30 and at this time no pre-tour has been planned. If you have something in mind, contact either Brandon or Tim Lange.

Roger Miller has been busy recuperating from a knee replacement and planning the Great Dinner for August 12 at his farm. Directions will be on the web and Tom will have signs posted where to turn to get to Roger's home. Bring a covered dish to share and your own table service. The Club will provide water. Dinner served at 12 Noon and entertainment will be provided.

August 18 and 19 will be Gosma's antique show and quilt show. Come and enjoy a fun day at the Gosma's.

October 26 is the Cumberland Pointe Car Show.

September 5th will be our annual Auction which is how we raise funds for the Club and at the same time we collect 2018 dues. Bring your old rusty car parts you can part with, something baked or any other item to be auctioned off. Also bring your checkbook!

August 26th is the 34 Annual Hudson car show at Rossville IN.

Mike Luenz announced the 74 anniversary of the Sweet Corn Festival at Hoopston, IL on September 2, 2017. They also have a car show. If you haven't been, it's a fun experience.
