President Brandon Stevens called the meeting to order on November 7, 2017 at the MCL Cafeteria.
Roll call was answered by 58 members and one young guest.
Drawings: MCL Gift Card went to Martha Hayes and Membership for a friend to Tom Cobb.
Reports on the Immanuel United Church of Christ car show, Kentland Breakfast tour, the Soup Social and to Jasper/Pulaski Wildlife area was made. Thanks to all who participated in these events. As a result Marlene Peterson has new tires and the Golden Spike!
The November ladies luncheon will be hosted by Marty Burkhalter at the Garden Gate Tea House in Delphi on November 17th. Linda Lewis reported a great time was had at October's luncheon.
Men's breakfast will be on Novmber 17th. at the Downtowner.
There will be a planning meeting December 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the MCL Cafeteria to plan for next year. Come join us if interested in planning a LIHAC event.
Our Christmas Gathering will be December 10, at the Stidham United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Bring finger foods or dessert. The drawing for the LIHAC quilt will be at this gathering.
Tim Lange has planned a tour of the Wilmeth Active Learning Center for November 22, at 10:00 a.m. This is a new building so plan to attend. There will be no classes on this date. Parking will be most convenient in the Grant Street Parking Garage. WATCH the WEB for more information.
Jo Williams gave the Treasurer's Report in the absence of Pam Luenz. Checking balance is $4,533.10. Savings Balance $1053.18.
Membership stands at 107 members.
Jo Williams requested someone else volunteer to purchase the Bingo prizes for the April 2018 Bingo event. Martha Hayes and Kay Price volunteered.
