LIHAC MINUTES FEBRUARY 6, 2018

The February 6, 2018 LIHAC meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by president, Tim Lange. 42 answered roll call.

There are new members since January, John and Sue Becherer and Jay and Anona Mitchell.

The Secretary's minutes were read from December 2017 and January 2018, with one correction in the December minutes, then they were both approved.

The Treasurer's report was read, 5 checks for last month, amounting to $455.00. Checking acct. has $4350.34, Savings $1053.21, the the 2 CD's of $553.12 and $537.56. Treasurer's report was approved.

Pam Luenz, reported that there has been 12 new members and 75 renewals.

There were 14 members with birthdays in February and 4 couples with February anniversaries.

Linda Cobb is in charge of Care and Concern for Annette Williams, she reported cards were sent to Gene McKinley, Susie and John Coulson, Jerry Barnett and sympathy cards to Patsy Fieleke and Ruth Fredericks.

The MCL drawing went to Marty Burkhalter and a new membership to Bill Erdes.

Pam reported on the January Ladies luncheon at Walt's Pub. There were 8 ladies and 1 young lady. Harold Williams reported on the men's monthly breakfast at the Downtowner--there were 17 men.

This coming Sunday, February 11, is the Sweetheart Lunch at The Trails at 1:00. Boni Goss asked if there was anyone not signed up that wanted to go, she needed to know, because she is to let the restaurant know tomorrow, February 7th.

Tim Lange reminded the group the next meeting is March 6th. He has contacted Sgt. Halacsak of Tippecanoe County Sheriff's office to come and speak about Personal Safety.

April 15th is the Bingo lunch at Buck Creek at 1:00. The Club will provide pork BBQ, chips, buns, coffee and water. Please bring your table service, and a dish to share. Martha Hayes volunteered to get Bingo prizes.

There was a motion to adjourn the meeting by Jerry Barnett and Mike Luenz seconded it. Meeting adjourned!
