LIHAC MINUTES AUGUST 2, 2018

The August 2nd, 2018 LIHAC meeting was called to order by President, Tim Lange at 6:45. 57 members and 1 guest, Paul Harshman, who has 8 vehicles, answered roll call.

The Secretary's report was read and approved.

The Treasurer, Pam Luenz reported that there were checks written for the month of July, totaling $556.05. The checking account has $2745.59 and the Savings account has $1053.27

Pam reported that the membership still stands at 99 families.

There are 14 August birthdays and 8 August anniversaries and for the month of September there are 15 birthdays and 8 anniversaries.

There were no Care and Concern cards sent in July.

The MCL drawing went to Gene Gangwer, the Dog n Suds to Tom Cobb and to recruit a new member went to Joe Bowyer.

The LIHAC Ladies Luncheon had 14 ladies at Teays River Brewing and Public House, sponsored by Marty Burkhalter and at the Men's Breakfast, there were 19 happy men.

The events for the rest of July:

July 15th. The LIHAC picnic at Columbian Park, at 1:00, reserved by Bob and Marty Burkhalter, it was very successful

July 27 and 28. the Mini and Micro Car Show put on by Joe Newlin, there were 7 or 8 cars that came for the show.

August 5 Dog n Suds at 4:30

August 11 LIHAC Barn and Suds lunch at 1:00 (Roger and Joyce Miller’s home)

August 17 and 18 Gosma Tractor and Car Show and a Quilt Show. Hot dogs for Friday evening, pulled pork sandwiches for Saturday noon and Ham and beans for

Saturday evening. Gosma’s will also provide chips, water, lemonade and tea, bring a dish to share.

September 4 LIHAC Meeting with annual Auction. Meeting at 6:00 and Auction at 6:30

September 16 Eldon Fredericks Memorial Car Show 11-3, at University Place. Brunch is provided.

September 26 Westminster Village Car display at 5:00 with food available

September 29 Car tour beginning at 10 a.m. to Parke Co. There will be 2 meal stops.

If you plan to use a plane, train and enter certain Federal facilities, you have to have a Real ID Compliant drivers license, as of October 1, 2020.

The Dammiit Doll is living with Bill Layton and the Golden spike is securely at Marlene Peterson's.

Don't forget the auction at the next meeting, starting at 6:00 and the auction at 6:30.
