The February LIHAC monthly meeting was called to order by President, Tim Lange at 6:45 p.m. There were 53 members that answered roll call.
Roger Miller spoke about an accident he had had in August 2018 and what he had to do to get his insurance company Hagerty to come through on what was agreed on in his insurance policy. Roger won!
The secretary’s minutes for January were read. There was a correction, the President’s name is Tim not Bill, correction was made in the minutes. After the correction, the minutes were approved.
The treasurer, Nancy Erdes, reported $387.41 in checks were written in January . The checking account has a balance of $3944.79; a gain of another penny for the savings which makes it $1053.33; a gain of 6 cents and 7 cents respectively to the two CD’s.
There are 14 birthdays and 6 anniversaries for the month of February.
In January, Linda Cobb sent Thinking of You cards to Darlene Lumley and Jim Courtney; a Get Well to Bruce Busse and a Sympathy card to Bill Layton. Steve Wilder thanked everyone for the calls and cards sent to him.
The MCL drawing was won by Gene Gangwer and the “recruit a new member” was won by Linda Cobb.
The January Ladies Luncheon to be at Spageddies and hosted by Pat Wilder was cancelled, due to bad weather. It has been rescheduled for February 21st at Spageddies at 11:30 hosted by Pat Wilder.
The January Men’s Breakfast had 18 men. The next meeting will be February 15th.

The Dammit Doll is wintering with Bill Layton and the Golden Spike is still keeping warm in Marlene Peterson’s kitchen.
Joe Newlin reported that he drove his Isetta around, on Thursday, January 31st, even though it was a very cold day.
Harold Williams had an insurance story to tell, at the end of the meeting. Joe Goss and Howard Lumley had brought magazines to reside in new homes.
Next Meeting will be March 5th. Roger Miller made the motion to adjourn the meeting and Don Gosma seconded it.
