LIHAC MINUTES JUNE 4, 2019

The June 4th, 2019, LIHAC meeting was called to order by President Tim Lange at 6:45 p.m.

Roll Call was answered by 50 members and 1 guest. Membership is at 84, as of June 4th.

The Secretary’s report for May was read and approved.

The Treasurer, Nancy Erdes, reported that there were 3 checks written in May. The checking account has $3095.38, the savings has $1606.80 and the CD has $537.82.

There were 9 birthdays and 2 anniversaries for June.

There were several on the Annette Williams’s Care and Concern list for May: Linda Cobb, Mike Luenz, Harold Williams, and Jerry Barnett.

The MCL drawing went to Jeff Findlay, Ed Wagoner got the Dog ‘n Suds gift certificates and Bill Erdes has the privilege of recruiting a new member.

There was a "Thank You" presentation to Pam Luenz for her 20 years of being LIHAC’s treasurer. From the club she received a personalized black, zippered portfolio and there was a donation given to their Luenz Pachyderm Endowment at the Indianapolis Zoo, also, a lifetime membership in LIHAC, for Pam and Mike.

May 15th, there were 18 or 19 ladies at the Ladies Luncheon at the Outback, hosted by Joyce Miller.

May 17th there were 18 or 19 guys at the Men’s breakfast.

The Covington Beef House Tour was enjoyed by several hungry people. Raymond Reeves and Barb Humm were the “Tour Guides.”

June 2nd, there were 21 bodies in 10 cars that went to the Goodwin Car Collection in Frankfort. Then to the Dog n Suds. The tour was hosted by LeMoyne Senesac.

UPCOMING EVENTS

June 8 Cookout at Jeff and Linda Findlay’s home at noon. Bring your tableware and a dish to share.

15 Veteran’s Home car show. There will be water and cookies and lunch tickets for $4.00.

Bobby and Marty Burkhalter are in charge.

19 Ladies Luncheon at Chilis Grill and Bar on St. Rd. 26 at 11:30. Hosted by Marty Burkhalter.

21 Men’s Breakfast at Downtowner at 8:30

22 Breakfast Tour hosted by Tom and Linda Cobb. More information coming later, on line.

Pam Luenz announced that Ken Double would be at the Long Center, June 8th.

Bob Walton knows of a 1970 Corvette for sale and Bobby Burkhalter knows of a 1950 4-door, Chevy for sale.

On June 15th, Bill Hendrick is having Tractor Days north of Mt. Zion Church.

Don Gosma made the motion to adjourn the meeting and Curt Williams seconded the motion.
