LIHAC MINUTES JULY 6, 2021

The July 6, 2021, LIHAC meeting was held at the  Red Bird Café, Dayton Indiana. Joe Goss, President called the meeting to order at 6:55, with 45 members answering roll call.  Membership is up to 77.

The Secretary’s minutes of the June 1st meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurer, Nancy Erdes, reported that the checking account has $2510.04 and the Savings account has $1052.05, they were approved as read.

The gift card drawing for the  Red Bird Café was won by Linda Cobb, the Dog ‘n Suds gift card went to Gene Gangwer and the drawing to recruit a new member went to Don Gosma.

The June Ladies Luncheon was held at the Fowler House with 12 ladies in attendance.  There were 14 at the June Men’s Breakfast.

A thank you from Memorial Presbyterian Church of Dayton for the $25.00 donation given in Margaret Grimes memory, was read.

Harold Williams led a Breakfast Tour to The Riverside, there were 14 LIHAC-ers, all enjoyed a great breakfast.

JULY  10 Car Show at the Lafayette Catholic School, starting at 4 p.m.

13—Ladies luncheon at Red Lobster, hosted by Linda Cobb—at 11:30

17-19 the Illianna Show

18 LIHAC Annual Picnic at Columbia Park at 1:00

AUGUST 14 Picnic at Roger and Joyce Miller’s residence

NEW BUSINESS:

It was decided to have the August LIHAC meeting after the lunch, on August 14th, instead of August 3rd.

The tour to The Railroad Museum at Linden, led by Dave Hackney, is in the process of getting planned with a date. The Christmas Party will be at the Stidham Church, December 12th at 1:00.  Bring a covered dish and your own serving utensil.

The Dammit Doll is resting with Ed Wagoner and the Golden Spike has been quite comfortable with Marlene Peterson since October 2017. 

Linda Cobb made the motion to adjourn the meeting and Mike Luenz seconded it.  Meeting adjourned.
