Meeting was called to order by Vice-President Jeff Findlay.
Roll call was taken with 28 members present.
Secretary's minutes from Dec 6th meeting were read and approved.
Treasurer's report was given and accepted
Beginning checking balance of $1,021.03
Expenses for the month were 167,37
Deposits were $1,331.50
Ending balance in checking $2,185.16
Saving account earned $.01 in interest for balance of $1000.04
CD (which matures (9-23-23) interest paid. $.19. for a balance of $1,114.66
Lora Layton opened discussion on if we should do something different than the CD.
Discussion on this will come up closer to the maturity date of 9-23-23.
Birthdays and Anniversaries were read for the month of January.
Care and Concern:
Harold Williams is now at The Springs
Bernie Byers has had 2 stents put in and is doing well
Linda Lewis has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer
Linda Findlay recently has 1/2 lung removed due to cancer and is recovery well
Linda Cobb thanked everyone for their cards and support with Tom’s passing.

Old Business
Reports were given on Ladies' Luncheon and Men's Breakfast - (again the men need to learn to count better or get a better memory)
When asked the membership in attendance did like the Silent Auction that we did at the Christmas Party. With the Auction and Donations for the entertainment $1,151.50 was made for the club.
New Business
Ed Wagoner opened up discussion on making a donation to an Automotive Academy. This will be pursued later when more information is gathered concerning giving the donation to an individual student, the Career Academy, or Ivy Tech.
Discussion will continue when more information is obtained.
Discussion was opened about members not being able to access the website and on members not getting the emails.
Tim Lange has tried sending email asking for a response on those we get nothing from to at least acknowledge we have good emails.
Curt Williams has volunteered to contact members who have not responded by the next meeting.
