LIHAC MINUTES JULY 16, 2023

Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm. by President Paul Harshman.

We had forty-four members present and three guests at the Picnic In The Park. Bob Walton gave the blessing before members ate Fried Chicken and an array of covered dishes. All was delicious.

Minutes were read by Linda Cobb and approved as was the treasurer's report given by Nancy Erdes.

Checking account has $2,149.10, savings account $1,000.09, plus one cent interest. The CD has $1,114.85 plus twenty cents interest. The total of the three accounts is $4,264.25.

We now have 84 members.

Sue Craft has a new 1958 Edsell and Bobby Burkhalter bought Ed Wagoner's '55 Chevy. Linda Cobb's 70 Ford Torino Convertible was sold and is living a happy life in Wisconsin.

There were twenty-five old cars line up at the picnic site for everyone to enjoy.

Birthdays and Anniversary's were read and there was nothing to report for Care & Concern.

The drawing for Arni's was won by Mike Burtram, Dog n Suds won by Jo Williams, and the new membership was won by Sam Layton.

Ladies' Luncheon was June 15th, at Treece's in Rossville, hosted by Lora Layton with ninteen ladies present (we have pictures). August Ladies' Luncheon will be hosted by Marty Burkhalter.

Men's Breakfast was June 16th, but they did not have as many as the ladies! No pictures were available!

Our annual pitch in at Roger & Joyce Miller's will be Saturday, August 12th, at their house. Pork Tenderloin will be served so bring a dish to share and your table service. Please arrive about 12:00 noon.

The reservation fee for the shelter was donated by Bob & Marty Burkhalter in memory of Harold Williams. We thanked Nate & Diane (park employees) for helping with the setup.

Don't forget Dog n Suds Sunday, August 6th, at 4:30 PM.
