As I sit in my kitchen scribbling out the monthly president's message, I see the warm sun beaming and the outdoors becoming more green and less grey. I start thinking about car tours, shows, and swap meets. Just in the past several days, I've seen numerous antique cars and street rods out getting their exercise. While everyone else gets excited seeing the first robin, I get excited seeing the first antique auto. What car enthusiast doesn't get fired up when they see that first classic chugging down the highway?
With all the activity, I am counting down the days until the big Packard National in Kansas City, the Buick National in Concord, North Carolina, Iola, and the king of them all: Hershey. But I'm also just as excited to join in our local club events. This includes the local get togethers, day long cruises, and: you guessed it,events where we EAT!
